The Friends of the Brown County Library (FOL) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) charitable organization that raises funds to benefit the growing needs of the Library. Our volunteer members advocate, educate, and raise funds on behalf of the Library, its patrons, and the Brown County community. Funds raised through membership dues, book sales and donations directly support many of the library’s programs and activities.

The FOL is dedicated to promoting our Library as an essential institution of Brown County. Please consider joining or renewing your membership today. Membership dues are $10.00 for individuals, $20.00 for families and $25.00 for organizations.

The holiday season will soon be upon us and what better gifts for those on your list than books? On Friday, November 30th from 9-6 and Saturday, December 1st from 9-4 stop by the library for the Friends of the Library Autumn Book Sale. Books, VHS tapes, audiobooks on cassette and more will be available for purchase. Items for children, young adults and adults will be included in this huge sale. In addition, our much-loved, used train table along with a few computer desks and a photocopy machine will also be available. You won’t want to miss this sale! All proceeds from the book sale go to directly support the library.
