Indiana State Park Pass Renewed for 2017!

The DNR and Indiana State Library are collaborating  to continue the free park pass for 2017.  The 2017 pass card will be available in January.  The DNR would like patrons to fill out a survey after using the pass.

Brown County Public Library will have ONE State Park Pass which will be available for check-out. Our library will have this pass for all of 2017. This gives free admission to any of the 32 state parks and Indiana’s state forest recreation areas where admission fees are charged.

The “park pass” is available at our circulation desk. It is housed in an orange case and may be checked-out on your library card for ONE WEEK. There are no holds or renewals. There will be fines of a $1.00 per day if returned late. Lost cards will cost $50.00.

This program is a partnership between the Indiana State Library and the Indiana State Parks. The goal is to provide library patrons the opportunity to visit the many beautiful Indiana state park locations.
