Voter registration forms can be found at the library or you can register to vote online at www.indianavoters.com. If you live in Indiana and are not registered to vote where you live now, and you want to register (or change your registration record) please fill out a voter registration form. Completed forms must be mailed or delivered to the Brown County Clerk’s Office, 20 E. Main Street, Nashville, Indiana 47448. This office is open Monday through Friday 8-4, and may be reached at 812-988-5511 or 812-988-5510. Please remember to use blue or black ink only to complete the forms.
How do you know if you need to fill out a voter registration form? If you answer yes to any of the following questions you will need to fill out a registration form.
- Are you a new resident to Indiana?
- Have you changed your name?
- Have you moved since the last election?
- Will you be 18 on or before November 6, 2012?
To find out where you vote, contact the Brown County Clerk’s office at 812-988-5511 or 812-988-5510. You can also find out online at www.indianavoters.com by selecting “Find my polling place”. You will need to provide your county, name and birth date.
The last day to register to vote for the November election is October 18, 2012. Registrations must be postmarked by the deadline date.
