Finding that “just right” book for children

Helping a child find the right book for him/her to read can be difficult.  Now we have some guidelines in the form of a book, “Goldie Socks and the Three Libearians,” two posters & matching free bookmarks, all located in the children’s area for easy access.
Suggested are ways to find a “just right” book using the ‘Five Finger Rule.” These rules are often used in schools so many children are already familiar with them. If not, this is a chance to help children who are beginning to read on their own find the best choice for their summer reading, vacation reading, or reading just for fun!
